Final instructions, health forms and evening program schedules are available for download in the Download section. Special Needs Form is available only as a PDF file. 

All participants must hand in the signed camper pledge upon their arrival at the camp together with the health form. Participants under 18 years of age must have physician's signature on the health form.
Piano and choir students will need trainers with non-marking sole. 
EU students will need to bring a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) and also 50 EUR or equiv. deposit in case of medical expenses (medical fees, prescription fees etc.). Studens outside EU will need a deposit of 120 USD or equiv. We highly recommend travel insurance. 
It is also possible to book performance at the Talent Show on July 24 or August 3 via e-mail info@chtm.cz. The music for accompanist needs to be sent via e-mail by June 25, 2017.



Last moment discounts, application deadline extended

We have Last minute spring offer from May 29 to June 10, 2017. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts. Participants from countries without a discount get 12%. Participants from countries with 15% discount get 20% instead. Participants from countries with 25% discount get 27%. Make a reservation today.

We can accept applications after June 10 with the same conditions but without a possibility to order uniform shirt or sweatshirt. You can only use rentals.



Discounts for all countries until April 20

Due date: 21/03/17

Students applying from countries not listed in any of the discount groups will receive 10% discount for applications received between March 21 and April 20. The discount is provided just for the tuition. It's 314 USD for 7 days, 449 USD for 11 days, and 719 USD for 18 days. We also provide 5% discount for exchange program FACE-IN applications from USA and Canada received between March 21 and April 20. For other countries included in discount groups, there is an additional 1% spring bonus for new applications. Go ahead and fill in your camp application today.



21st season applications available

Electronic applications are available. We have also posted application, brochure and flyer in the Download section as PDF files. If  you wish to have the stay in our camp as Christmas gift for your son or daughter, please let us know and write CHRISTMAS in the Note section of the application. We need to receive these applications by December 21 in order to e-mail gift registration to your e-mail address in time. You can use additional New Year bonus +1% to First Moment discount 3% for applications received by December 31 and fully paid by January 20, 2017.

20th jubilee seaon

Due date: 20/07/16 - 06/08/16

Ode to Joy performed by string and wind ensemble, choir and angklung ensemble of present and former participants ended the jubilee 20th season of the Czech Music Camp for Youth / Fine Arts Camps Europe.
Ode to Joy also finished session I but in a completely different way. Our Symphonic Band students had an opportunity to play in American style marching band.

F.A.C.E. participants at Nove Hrady castleOur jubilee season hosted 197 students from Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, USA and Czech Republic. Camp season opening concert was featuring the most successful camp alumni for example Prague Spring 2013 winner Katerina Javurkova (French horn) or the Smartest Czech TV competition winner Viktor Dekoj (French horn) and many others. Nove Hrady castle hosted our first mid-session concert of all major ensembles on July 24 followed by the tour of the castle. Other off-camp concerts were held in the Retirement Home Simeon in Horni Jeleni or Horni Jeleni Holy Trinity Church  where the opening concert of session II took place featuring a successful Prague Spring 2012 competitor Petra Zdarska (harpsichord) and Michaela Ambrosi (historical flute).

Alumni Jazz Band ensemble featuring present and former staff memb20th season finaleers of our camp
 performed during the last night of our jubilee season. The season finale attracted a lot of former students and staff members. Some of them visited an exhibition of camp photographs, absorbed the atmosphere of the camp, where almost everything remained the same like in the past. Others participated in alumni jazz band or the grand finale of the season, which was probably the most touching moment because both conductors also involved those former participants who planned to come only as audience members.

We have also organized the 4th season of our exchange program with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in the USA. This season was very successful. Blue Lake hosted 3 Czech students from our camp. Josef Simek (trombone) and Martin Horak (clarinet) participated in Blue Lake session I. Tadeas Sorejs (clarinet) became the first Czech student who participated in Blue Lake International Exchange Program touring France, Spain and U.S. midwest  with Blue Lake Southern Winds. Our conductor Col. Ret. Thomas Palmatier became the first conductor who conducted Blue Lake Faculty Band and Wind Ensembles of the Czech Music Camp in one season.

Changes in electronic forms

Our electronic forms were didn't work during last weekend April 30 - May 1 so if you tried to send your reservation or application, we haven't received the data. We had to change our application forms and the procedure for electronic applications. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience when you fill out applications as they need to be bilingual now. The form should be fully functional. However, if you don't hear from us within a week, please contact us, as we probably haven't received your data.
