Final instructions, health forms and evening program schedules are available for download in the Download section. Internet Special Needs Form is also available. 

All participants must hand in the signed camper pledge upon their arrival at the camp together with the health form. 
Piano students will need trainers with non-marking sole. 
EU students will need to bring a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) and also 75 USD or equiv. deposit in case of medical expenses (medical fees, prescription fees etc.). Studens outside EU will need a deposit of 150 USD or equiv. We highly recommend travel insurance. 
It is also possible to book performance at the Talent Show on July 20 via e-mail info@chtm.cz. The music for accompanist needs to be sent via e-mail by June 30, 2014.

18th season New Year bonus

We have posted application, brochure and flyer in the Download section as PDF files. We're currently working on electronic applications that should be functional in December 2013. You can use additional New Year bonus +1% to First Moment discount 3% for applications received by December 31 and fully paid by January 20, 2014.



17th season

Due date: 03/08/13

Our 17th season hosted 144 students from United States, Turkey, Great Britain and the Czech Republic. A new major International Choral Ensemble opened in session I. As an introduction of a new major, the opening vocal recital was featuring the director of a new department Oldriska Honsova with her students Karolina Vrbova and Dominik Macek accompanied by Russian pianist Ekaterina Pastukhova. Session II opened with Prague Cello Quartet performing for our campers in Holy Trinity Church in Horni Jeleni.
Camp season offered great experience in performing off camp such as Jazz Band performing outside Horni Jeleni church on July 21 followed by camp band marching through the streets of the town, three concerts in the retirement homes in Horni Jeleni (choir), Moravany (jazz band) and Pardubice (string orchestra).



Josef Kusicka (1940 - 2013)

Management of the Czech Music Camp Youth announces with deep sadness that a long-time member of the organizing committee Mr. Josef Kusicka has passed away. He died after a serious illness at the age of 73 years on July 31, 2013. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 1.30 pm in the Holy Trinity Church in Horni Jeleni. Mr. Josef Kusicka has been around Czech Music Camp for Youth organizing board since its estabilishment in 1996. He was responsible for technical and maintenance work. He will be greatly missed.

16th season

Due date: 04/08/12

Our 16th season hosted 163 students from 12 different countries. The camp season was held in 2 sessions as there weren't enough participants to open session III. The camp season opened with baroque music ensemble concert at Horni Jeleni Holy Trinity Church featuring former C.M.C.Y. student and faculty member cembalist Petra Zdarska who was the most successful Czech performer at the Prague Spring 2012 international music competition. Session II opened with Precordi string quartet from Horni Jeleni featuring Pardubice Chamber Philharmony soloist Zdenka Krebsova.
Jazz Band elective played an off camp concert in the Home for Elderly in Pardubice.
