FACE CZ, 13th season

Due date: 8/08/09

Our 13th season took place in Radost camp Horni Jeleni where we hosted 193 students and 39 staff members from 12 countries. Symphony orchestra students who came to our camp for both sessions played the whole Dvoraks 8th Symphony under the direction of Haig Utidjian (England / Cyprus). Symphonic Band was directed by Jon Waite (USA). The season was opened on July 23 by Salome Wind Quintet from Prague featuring Prague Music Academy students and graduates. The second part was opened by violinist Lada Fedorova and pianist Lucie Kaucka who performed in our camp 5 years ago.
Thanks to a great cooperation with Horni Jeleni public school we could place Piano and English Theatre departments in the school building. The campsite also hosted Recorder Ensemble and Harp majors.
